Purple Butterflies

Last night I dreamed my hubby and I came upon hundreds of beautiful purple butterflies. He was picking them up by the double handfuls and putting them all over my body. When I woke up from this very real dream I realized the Purple Butterflies were a symbol of a word I was researching the night before... Lupus...An unfamiliar word to me had become all to real...I was diagnosed on Monday October 3,2011 by Dr Geetha Jonnala.

    i have just got diagnosed with lupus on december 8, 2011 and its all so new to me! we just gotta be strong and take each day as a new challenge.

    I was diagnosed with Lupus at the age of 15. I am now 23 and have been through more crap then someone should ever have to o through. February 28,2012 I had open heart surgery because my lupus got a ho;d of my mitral valve.. Then in January of 2013 I got put on the transplant list for not one but two new kidneys. Its a tough disease but the best advice I can give is stay on your medication. I didnt and I learned my lesson....
